Patient’s treatment in Altnagelvin Hospital was ‘reasonable and appropriate’

A woman questioned why it took so long for her father to receive surgery in Altnagelvin Area Hospital.  She also claimed that poor communication between staff contributed to his untimely death.

Report recommendations

We found no failings in the patient's care and treatment, but asked the Trust to apologise to the complainant for the time it took to investigate her concerns.
